It was so nice to have the day off yesterday. And for once in about 2 weeks it didn’t rain at all during the day. We lazed around the house yesterday and took a dip in the pool and it was blissful! Hopefully you enjoyed your Independence Day as well.
I got a chance to play around in my craft room this morning and I put together a card for the CAS-ual Fridays Material Girl Challenge and the same card is perfect for the Action Wobble Christmas in July, Challenge.
My daughter Sam and I had purchased some fabric at Christmas time last year to make pajama pants. We partially made one pair of pants, one size too small and then gave up. LOL I am not much of a sewer. So needless to say I have a bunch of flannel penguin material left over.
I carefully cut out one of the adorable penguins and mounted her to some cardboard with Elmer’s Glue. Then I added an Action Wobble spring to the back of cardboard so that she can jiggle her little penguin booty on the card. The sentiment is a mash up from CASual Fridays: Rad, Mama Elephants: Flashy Letters and Hero Arts: Christmas Sentiments.
Here is a picture of the penguin in action.

Oh my goodness! That is so clever how you used the penguin from yardage to make an embellishment. And the fact that it wobbles? Awesome!! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
do you have any of that penguin fabric left? i would love it to make a stocking for my daughter!
I do have fabric left. Are you in the Nassau County area?
