Getting Sketchy, Again

Posted on

Stampin Up For the Birds

I played along with another sketch for Operation Write Home today. I don’t know that I nailed this one but, lots of layers are definitely outside of my comfort zone. And mixing patterns is way, way outside of my comfort zone. But for me the point of trying out a sketch is for me to learn and embrace new styles.

Anyone can play along on these sketches and there is no winners so there is no pressure to “be the best”. So if you have a blog or a Flickr Account why not play along.  http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-179/

I am also entering this card on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes

Happy Stamping,

About cardsbymo

Paper crafting is my Yoga. It takes my mind off any stress that I might have at the time. My daughter loves to get involved in my projects too and it is a great way to connect with her. Sixteen years ago I began scrapbooking but, my new true love is card making!

  7. U did a great job with different patterns. The rue in decorating mixing patterns is to pa attention to scale. Also colors are in nature. Just look outside, there is a plethora of colors and they all go together. Not a good idea to mix yellow and brown-excrement! Can’t wait to see u again in a few weeks. Did u have drop dead dates for arrival and departure? Dave is claiming the condo for himself. Just kidding. Expect a package for Sam in a couple days. Bonnie
