First off I want to draw your attention to the Yeti’s hairy little chest. Doesn’t the Fun Flocked fuzziness just make you smile? I bought several jars of Fun Flock when it was on clearance at a local craft store a year or so ago. And I finally opened some of these colors for the first time yesterday.
This fuzzy jar of fun is so easy to use. Just apply a thin layer of glue to the area you want to flock and then shake some of the flocking onto it and press lightly. Tap off the excess flock and return it to your jar. Avoid rubbing or touching the flocked area for a few hours to allow the glue to dry.
Of course I added some Glossy Accents to my card too. It wouldn’t be a Card by Mo unless it had some element that was covered in shiny goodness. (Each Yeti’s tongue is covered in G.A. too)
I don’t often create cards that aren’t the A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″) but, I wanted to create a rainbow effect with the Yetis and I need more paper space to do that. I colored the little monsters with Copic markers and I stamped the balloons with Hero Arts Neon stamp pads. The Yetis are from the Lawn Fawn set; Yeti, Set, Go and the balloons are from a clear that I have had in a zip lock bag for so long that I don’t remember where I got it from or what it’s called.
This is my final entry into the Lawnscaping Challenge, Dust Em Off.
Happy Stamping,
Mo
