Try to Fold a Trifold Shutter Card

The card I am featuring today is a trifold shutter card. You can find a great tutorial here on how to cut and fold this card. It really is a simple design once you see how it is done.

Yeti, Set, Go

I featured a lot of different stamp sets on this card but, the two adorable Yeti creatures are from Yeti, Set, Go by Lawn Fawn. And the balloons are from Up and Away by Mama Elephant Stamps.

Yeti, Set, Go

This Yeti is wearing a crown from the Hats Off to You, stamp set from Lawn Fawn and his friends are wearing party hats from the same set. And the birthday cake is actually a sticker rather than a stamp. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this is a mixed media project but, I do think that incorporating stickers now and then can give your cards a little something different.

I forgot to take a photo of the card when it is closed but, here is a look at the card when it is opened wide. Many people also add decorative paper to some of the panels. You know me and my less is more approach, so I just doodled some confetti and called it a day.

You really should give this card shape a try. It is just a matter of a couple of cuts and a couple of folds.

I am entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge: Critters Galore
