My own children are 15 and 18 this Easter and suffice to say some of the mystery of the Easter Bunny is gone. But I still enjoy all of the cute images of chicks, bunnies and eggs that go along with Easter. So thank goodness for nieces, nephews and grandnephews and grandnieces!
I made two versions of this card featuring a rabbit from Hippity Hoppity by Papertrey Ink. The first card featured this cute bunny in blue for one of my grandnephews. I used the matching Hippity Hoppity die set to cut out the bunny and the eggs. The trees are from Lawn Fawn’s Critters Down Under and the birds are from Lawn Fawn Home Sweet Home. And the grass is made with a paper punch.
I made a pink bunny for my brother’s daughter. As you can see the two cards are similar but, not the same. This second card also includes the chick from the Hippity Hoppity set.
I also made a ton (125 to be exact) of these Easter Bunny Punch Cards for the Council on Aging too. The assembly of them was pretty easy since I had Peggy and Joan and a few other ladies helping me out. The woodgrain paper is made with a woodgrain stamp on brown cardstock and the circles and ovals can be taylored to create whatever sized bunny you would like.
Happy Easter,
Mo
