I have been having fun with my new Critters Ever After stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The little magical animals featured in the set are so cute! This first card features a Unicorn on a pathway of sparkly stars. (My 15 yr old daughter Sam went gaga over it, so I must be doing something right) The sparkles are all thanks to various colors of Stickles gels. I put an extra coat of Glossy Accents over the Stickles once it’s dry. That prevents the any loose glitter from falling off.
This next card features a Dragon,a Griffon and a Castle! Perfect for a Potterphile like me. I have a Har Repotter stamp from Bugaboo Digital stamps that I may try to pair with these images down the road. But for now I just featured them in front of a forest of hand scribbled Pine trees with a sky full of doodled balloons. I doodled a cobblestone path too but, when it was done I realized that it needed to be larger in the foreground to create the proper depth perception. And when I enlarged it you could see where I added on to it on either side. Luckily the recipient of this card will likely be age 10 or under and that age group tends to be “big picture” types who will overlook my artist shortcomings. 😉
This last card features a pair of star crossed lovers. Although they are both cold blooded and both are mythical, I wonder how they would really fare in a relationship. (Care for frog legs, anyone?)But love conquers all they say.
I was on a doodling kick last night and so I added in some grass and hand drawn flowers to my scene. It has been quite a long time since I have added my own elements like that. I tried to use a card making technique that I hadn’t used in a long time so that I could enter one of these cards into the Lawnscaping Challenge: Dust Em Off
Happy Stamping,
Mo

These are all three just so cute! And I love how you did the stars and cobblestones leading up to the castle on the first two. Such a cool idea! Thanks for playing with us at Lawnscaping!
