The Show Goes On

Posted on

I recently went through some of my stamps and decided to sell a few sets that I didn’t use much anymore. My collection of stamps includes about 100 sets which is not a huge number in the stamping world but, I like to keep my possessions to a minimum. And don’t like the idea of things just “hanging around” if I don’t plan to use them in the near future. So I sifted through my collection and sold off 8 or 9 sets and I have another half dozen or so that didn’t sell, so I will use them as gifts for my crafty friends.

One of the sets I sold is from Stampin Up and it’s called Under the Big Top. It is now available as a digital stamp set, so I decided to let the rubber set go in exchange for the digital set. This way I don’t have to store the set in my craft room and the digital version can be easily sized up or down depending on my project. And my sister was happy to add a new set to her stash at a bargain price.

Here are two older cards that I had made with this set but never showcased on the blog.

This bear could have just been a ballerina but, by adding the balls she became a juggling ballerina. Very talented, bear!

I love this Strong Man character but, he is so darn tiny. So I look forward to using the digital version which I can print out much larger than the 1″ 1/2 that he stands at now. It will be a lot easier to color him at a larger size too! I am fighting off the need for reading glasses now that I am over 40 and bigger stamps mean I can put off the “Granny Glasses”  for a little longer. 😉

Happy Stamping,

Mo
