My mother asked that I make a card for her to give to a friend who is turning 65. Her only stipulation was that I feature the number 65 on the front of the card. This made it easy for me to have fun with the card because, I wasn’t having to stay within a tightly defined theme.
The background paper came from a Tiffany’s jewelry catalog. All I did was run in through my Big Shot in an embossing folder to give it more texture. I stamped the 65 by inking up the stamp with Versamark embossing ink and then orange ink. After I stamped it I covered it with clear embossing powder and then used my heat gun to melt the powder. I paper punched the tag and then I scored the diagonal lines on my Scoreboard. The flowers are faux silk and are sold in the stamping aisle at Michaels.
This card will be another submission for me into the Simon Says Stamp: Happy Birthday Challenge.
Happy Stamping,
Mo
