I made a graduation card for our son James’ girlfriend, Maya. The card features a really cute stamp from Denami Design called Large Chickie. Lisa P. from the Denami Design team has featured several cards using this chick dressed up in different clothing and accessories. That inspired me to make him/her into a Graduate.
First I stamped the mortarboard hat and the covered it with a stamping mask and then I stamped the chickie and colored it in. Easy peasy but, totally cute! (check out this post to see how a stamping mask works)
Our local High School colors are Green and Gold so I featured those colors in the background and on the tassel. I nipped the edge of the mounting papers and the image with a 1/2 circle punch to create a ticket punch look.
