I used the current digital freebie from Birdie Brown called Gnome Boy in a Wood to create a card for my husband Jeff’s and my anniversary. We met, got engaged and then married on Halloween. So I love to give him Halloween and Fall themed cards for our anniversary. You may notice that I also sneaked in a cute little Fall Girl who was a freebie of Birdie’s from a long time ago.
I haven’t stamped the inside of the card yet but, it will read ” I fall for you year after year”. Jeff is such a loving and patient husband. He puts up with my mood swings, my forgetfulness and my crafting obsession. I really do fall for him over and over again. And that is nothing to sniff at when you consider that we work together at our flooring store 6 days a week and of course we live together too!
There is still about a week left to play along at Birdie’s blog using this free digital image. You could win a digital stamp from Birdie’s Etsy site if you are chosen at random as the winner. Why not put a card together and take a chance.
PS I told Jeff not to view this post until after our Anniversary.
Happy Stamping,
Mo
I love the colors & the sentiment you will add. I remember a certain lady on the customer service desk playing a roll in getting this wonderful relationship started. I couldn’t be happier for both of you. He will LOVE this card.
I’ll never forget the night when you told me he asked for my phone number! Thanks for staying with Mohawk after I quit!
I remember that night too. I was so sad to see you move away but even more happy that you 2 found each other & wound up such an awesome match. (not sure if this posted twice it kicked me out the 1st time, if so, sorry)
Happy Anniversary!!! I’m so glad that you made such an adorable card using my digi for your hubby!
Thank you for joining my freebie challenge this month!:)
That little Gnome and the girl went so well together so thanks to you for your great images!
