A Blog Named Hero Card

Posted on

I created this card before I left for work this morning for the Dust ‘Em Off challenge being held at a Blog Named Hero. I don’t have a lot of Hero Arts stamps but, I had recently purchased this stamp and thought it would be perfect. It is called Woodland Critters and this is the first card I have made with this stamp set so be on the lookout for more to come!

I used Prisma Colored pencils and Gamsol blending solution to color the stamps. The background is sponged using Tempting Turquoise from Stampin’ Up and I cut a scrap of green paper to make the fringed grass at the bottom of the card. I’m not sure if you can see it in the pictures but, the butterflies are sparkly and the mushrooms have dimensional spots!

The challenge ends on May 25th USA time so get your entries in soon.

Happy Stamping,

Mo

      • Sweet! I’m always impressed that you can create things that I buy in stores. I think the only things I’ve ever created in my life were my children … and let’s face it, my wife did 95% of that work (and I think I’m being generous with that 5%).

  2. Oh Dave, you crack me up!

I have this stamp set too and it hasn’t seen any love (or ink) for a LONG time! Might be about time to pull it out huh?!

Thanks so much for entering the challenge!

    Good luck
