Doggone It All; Belated Birthday Card

Posted on

I forgot to get a card in the mail  before my nieces 24th birthday last week. So I sent her one of my standby cards that I created using a Martha Stewart template. It was a few years ago but I think the template was originally intended for a felt craft . Some of it is hand cut and some of it is paper punched.

I added the zig zag flower to the card and I hand wrote the sentiment. Although I could have put some of my alphabet stamps together to create the sentiment I was in a hurry and handwriting it was a big time saver!

This card is ginormous! It is a 6″ x 8″ card. So the postage was $.67 but, Amanda is worth at least $.67 to me. (Especially since I quit putting money in her cards when she turned 18. I have 17 nieces and nephews so I have to draw the line somewhere!)

Better late than never!

About cardsbymo

Paper crafting is my Yoga. It takes my mind off any stress that I might have at the time. My daughter loves to get involved in my projects too and it is a great way to connect with her. Sixteen years ago I began scrapbooking but, my new true love is card making!
