I got the call from the Memorial United Methodist Church that my name was picked from dozens of others to be in their craft fair next Saturday. I was so excited when I got the call that I wanted to quote Sally Field for her Oscar win…”you like me. You really like me.” But I thought that since this was just a lottery type drawing that I won by chance I might sound like a bit of a loony bird if I did. So instead I said something more like “Um. Great. OK, thanks for letting me know”. Then I hung up the phone and did the Cabbage Patch which is my “go to” happy dance!
I have a lot to finish before the craft fair on the 14th so please forgive me if my posts fall off the face of the Earth for the next week or so.
