My husband’s mother is staying with us for a few days this weekend. I didn’t want to be rude and not visit with her but, I also didn’t give up my crafting hour either. So last night I sat on a tiny little step stool at one of our living room side tables to create these two beauties. This way she and I could chat while I stamped, colored, cut and mounted my cards.
They say that one of the signs of addiction is when your habit interferes with your family life. But I avoided that addiction label by being a good hostess at the same time that I was feeding my need! Now if I could only find a way to craft while I exercise I could make cards while I whittled away at my midsection. Imagine that infomercial!
I made five of the orange butterfly cards for the craft show in April. The thank you card is for our daughter Sam’s band director. He has been really great about carting Sam, and 5 other kids from her band, back andforth to All District Band practice. The school colors are green, gold and black.
